1.Trumpet mouthpieces

There is a ton of models and makes that we explore in the article "What is THE best trumpet mouthpiece", and they can easily cost anything between $85 and more than $450.

From $49.99, Yamaha trumpet mouthpieces are some of the most inexpensive mouthpieces on the market without any compromise on quality. Beginner musicians and professionals alike will find a Yamaha mouthpiece that can help them improve their playing and their finances!

2. Clarinet double case

A lot of double cases for clarinet are sold at about 500$ (or more), which isn't adapted to all budgets. Rest easy, there are other options : ProTec Double Zip Case - At 175$, this solid and compact case will adequately protect your clarinets without taking too much space in your bag.

3. Clarinet Swab

If you are on a budget, the Yamaha Clarinet swab at 12.99$ is truly the most durable and sturdy swab for the price. 

Tip: Wash regularly your swabs in the washing machine to ensure that they stay clean and efficient. We recommend that you put them in a mesh bag and wash them with delicate items.

4. Solid trombone cases

You can't fit 1 800$ trombone case in your budget? Not a problem with the IPAC and Contour cases by ProTec.

The Contour (PB306CT -339$) and IPAC (399$) will AMPLY protect your instrument. Plus, they are beautiful, sturdy and offer a lot of storage space. 

5. Yamaha Bassoon Swab

For bassoon players, it's like everything is expensive! Here is your chance to save money with the Yamaha bassoon swab (32.99$) which is as efficient and durable that more expensive models.

6. Mouthpiece cushions

The BG brand is known to offer luxury and high quality products and we love those mouthpiece cushions that are only 8.95$. With these cushion you can protect your saxophone and clarinet mouthpieces from damages and they will last longer.

7. Slide grease

By far one of the most loved slide grease by professional trombone players, the Yamaha lube at 8.99$ is what you need.

Tip : These little bottles seem to disappear all the time. Buy a couple of bottles and leave them in clever places like your home, the car, the studio and your case, of course! 

8. Mouthpiece brush (brass)

Cleaning the inside of their mouthpiece should be a priority for brass players. Dirt accumulates really fast in the mouthpiece and it can be a breeding ground for bacteria. At only $5.95, the ProTec brush (AEPTA261) is a no-brainer.

Tip : Use toothpaste to clean your mouthpiece with the special brush if you don't have brass soap on hands.

9. Saxophone mouthpiece

If you think brass mouthpieces are expensive, wait until you see how much a saxophone mouthpiece can cost. Some brands have mouthpieces sell from 1000$ and up!

A really great alternative is the Yamaha mouthpieces (from 31.99$) and the Yamaha Custom (from $109.99). The 4C is great to start but not a lot of people are aware that there are other models (5C, 6C, 7C) that have the same openings as professional models can help you refine and work on your sound.
