NU-X has released their version of a Digital Wind Instrument, the NES-1. The NES-1 is played with saxophone fingerings but as a digital instrument can produce up to 50 different sound types (saxophone, trumpet, strings, brass???) ??? all high-quality samples.
The pitch and tone can be adjusted with the force of the breath as on a real saxophone.
Other notable features are built-in speakers, Bluetooth connectivity (to play with songs or backing tracks), and an included wireless unit for wireless performance
