I originally designed the PaGu Special for myself. Being on the podium several hours a day, I needed a baton that I could hold behind the collar, basic fulcrum, around the ball, between my fingers and more. By moving my fingers back a little bit I get weight in the tip for expressive music and by moving my fingers forward, I get quick response for up tempo pieces. This is a great all-around baton.
